The shocking news comes after a tweet posted by McDonald’s Pakistan which tweeted, ‘Time to pause for a while.’

It certainly indicated that the global franchise might take a break for a while. Founded in 1940, McDonald’s is the world’s largest fast-food restaurant chain, serving over 69 million customers daily in over 100 countries in more than 40,000 outlets as of 2021.
McDonald’s Pakistan currently operates 178 outlets across 24 major cities nationwide, serving millions of customers. Its franchise locations include Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Multan, Hyderabad, Quetta, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Sukkur, Sheikhupura, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujrat, Sahiwal, Abbottabad, and Jhelum.
