Iconic band Coldplay has announced plans to retire following the release of their 12th studio album. This decision comes after the band revealed their 10th album, “Moon Music”, which will be available on Friday, October 4.
Chris Martin, the band’s lead vocalist, confirmed that Coldplay will not produce more than 12 albums, signaling the end of their recording career. He explained, “We are only going to do 12 proper albums, and that’s final. Having that limit means the quality control is extremely high, and for a song to make it now, it’s almost impossible, which is great. Instead of coasting, we’re pushing to improve.”
Meanwhile, Coldplay is also set to perform in Mumbai in January 2025, but many fans were left frustrated after tickets for the show sold out in just a few minutes.
Following this, tickets began appearing on the black market at inflated prices. Mumbai Police has even summoned Book My Show’s CEO amid allegations of a ticketing scam, sparking rumors on social media that the concert might be cancelled.
