Is Chris Evans returning to the MCU as Captain America?

Chris Evans did many notable movies in his career but it was indeed the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s Captain America, a character who acclaimed his stardom.

Yes, you read it right! As per reports, Chris Evans will reportedly reprise his role as Captain America in a limited series about Steve Rogers returning the infinity stones after Endgame. It would keep him firmly in the Infinity Saga era and therefore wouldn’t tease too much with his sturdy character arc.

After all, Evans has said in the past that the only way he would happily return to that red, white, and blue uniform is if the right project came along; a project that didn’t spoil the dignity of the character just for the sake of fan service.

In September 2023, Evan even shared that he was having second thoughts about quitting acting. Evans has had enough success to be financially secure for the rest of his life, and probably a few lifetimes beyond.

On the work front, he was last seen in Apple’s action comedy ‘Ghosted’ along with Ana de Armas. He later starred in Netflix’s ‘Pain Hustlers’, a sly, clever movie about the opioid crisis. he will be seen in Amazon Prime VIdeo’s upcoming Christmas movie ‘Red One’, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’.
