It seems that Angelina Jolie is ready to move on with her love life after being single since 2016. The Hollywood star has been spotted with a British rapper named Akala, but what do we know about him?
Jolie has always been a captivating figure in the showbiz world, and she has never lacked admirers. After her split with Brad Pitt, almost ten years ago, she has been linked to various celebrities, but none of them seemed to win her heart till now anyway.
Jolie’s situation may have changed, as she has recently been seen with British rapper and poet Akala, whose real name is James Kingslee McLean Daley. Oggy magazine has published exclusive photos of the actress and the rapper having dinner in Milan, Italy, with the crew of the movie ‘Maria’. According to Oggy, they arrived and left the restaurant together and headed to the hotel.
This is not the first time Jolie and Akala have been seen together. They also traveled to Jamaica this May to attend the Calabash Literary Festival, and they have enjoyed some concerts together in the past, such as the one by Mustafa Ahmed, also known as Mustafa the Poet, in 2021. However, they have not officially announced their relationship yet.
What happened to Brangelina?
Jolie and Pitt, who were affectionately called “Brangelina” by the media and the fans, seem to have no chance of getting back together, as Pitt has been dating a young Spanish woman named Ines de Ramon.
They were together for 12 years, from 2002 to 2016, and they tied the knot in 2014 after having six children. But their marriage only lasted two years before Jolie filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
Many fans wondered what went wrong, but it could be related to an incident on a plane when Pitt allegedly physically and verbally assaulted Jolie and their children during a flight in 2016.
