A group of hackers linked to Iran has claimed that it hacked the email account of a senior Israeli military officer. According to Iran’s broadcaster Press TV, a group named “Hanzala” has taken responsibility for the attack.
The report claims that the hackers accessed the email account of Israeli Brigadier General Erez Oren (Iren Ortal) and obtained around 100,000 confidential emails.
According to the group, these emails contain information related to Israel’s military strategies and policies, which they describe as highly important and sensitive.
The Hanzala group has labeled these files as evidence of Israel’s “genocidal policy and military strategy.”

The hackers described General Oren as a key figure in Israel’s new military strategy, calling him the “architect” of what they termed Israel’s “new doctrine of brutality.”
Erez Oren previously served as a commander at the Dado Center in the Israeli military, an institution considered significant for military research and strategy.
He is currently heading the military program at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and is also affiliated with the American Foreign Policy Council as a visiting scholar.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran will continue to defend itself for as long as necessary.
