Anchor Iqrar-ul-Hassan, who was recently blamed for planting the Minar-e-Pakistan Incident with the victim Ayesha Akram, has apologised for being unapologetic in the incident.
The anchor’s name has been as a hashtag on Twitter demanding the arrest of Iqrar-ul-Hassan. However, the anchor made a video through which he turned down all the allegations pinned against him and explained all the scenarios of how he contacted Ayesha Akram.
According to him, it was not planted and he went to meet Ayesha for her bravery as she took a bold and sane step of filing an FIR in such an incident in which most of the Pakistanis never take a step.

He also warned that no one is allowed to harass and subject a girl to any kind of violence based on her dressing. One should be man enough to control how he feels, he maintained.
The journalist has been receiving immense flak on social media as Twitteratis accuse him of running an anti-Pakistan campaign with his comments. While interviewing Ayesha Akram, the victim of the Minar-e-Pakistan incident, Iqrar-ul-Hassan said he thanks God for not being blessed with a daughter due to the rising sex crimes against women in Pakistan.
