In a peculiar incident, police in Odisha’s Balasore district have recovered a large sum of stolen money hidden in cow dung.
Gopal Bihara, accused of stealing over 2 million rupees from an agricultural company, allegedly concealed the loot in cow dung to evade detection.
According to police, Bihara planned to transport the stolen funds to his village through his brother-in-law, Roubindra Bihara.
During a search operation at Bihara’s in-laws’ residence, police discovered the hidden cash.
Bihara and his brother-in-law remain fugitives, while a family member has been arrested and is being questioned.
The investigation is ongoing.
