Controversial Indian journalist Arnab Goswami has once again landed himself into hot waters over a hate speech against the people of Pakistan in his show.
Britain’s Broadcasting Regulatory Authority in this regard imposed a £20,000 financial penalty on Indian TV channel Republic TV after the channel aired hate speech against the people of Pakistan in a show conducted by the controversial Indian anchor.
According to British Broadcasting Regulatory Authority Ofcom, Goswami on 6th September 2019 discussed the relations between Pakistan and India in his show where he and the participants in the program called all Pakistanis ‘terrorists’.

“Scientists, doctors, leaders, politicians, athletes and every child there, all terrorists,” the anchor said. One guest in the program said that Pakistani scientists are ‘thieves’ while another guest called Pakistanis ‘beggars’.
In the program, Pakistanis were also called ‘Paki’ which is considered a racist word. The discussion in the program was provocative in which Pakistanis were compared to monkeys and donkeys. The Ofcom also mentioned, “We also noted that Pakistani contributors were repeatedly interrupted and afforded little time to make points which may potentially have provided challenge or context.”
