Earlier, multiple explosions and sounds of gunfire were heard last night and early morning in the key areas of Walton and Burki Road, spreading panic and fear among residents.
These sounds were heard intermittently, according to sources, giving the impression that a security operation or attack was underway in the area. Sources report that these incidents occurred following reports of Indian drones violating Pakistani airspace in Lahore and other regions.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was revealed that India had sent 12 drones into Pakistan, all of which were timely shot down by Pakistan’s air defense systems. According to ISPR, the Indian drones were sighted in various areas including Lahore, Gujranwala, Mianwali, Bahawalpur, Chhor, Karachi, and Chakwal.
