KARACHI: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday said that it had been decided in the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting that an in-camera briefing will be held on talks with banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan( TTP) and later the prime minister will brief the parliament.
He made the statement at a press conference after the NSC meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and held in Islamabad.
He said that the meeting was attended by the civil and military leadership and decided that the talks with the TTP Â will be held only under the framework of the Constitution.
“The talks [with the TTP] will be taken forward under the guidance of parliament,” Sanaullah added.
 Replying to a question he said that all the corruption scandals of Imran Khan and his front persons were being investigated by the relevant law enforcement agencies (LEAs), and soon action would be launched against them, in accordance with the law.
“The government will do nothing in the matter. The FIA, NAB, and other relevant institutions are investigating their corruption, and once the investigations.
He said the coalition government did not believe in political witch-hunting, but there were many corruption scandals in which Imran Khan and his front persons were directly involved.
