ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Imran Khan Niazi’s call for PTI workers to reach D-Chowk is a contempt of today’s Supreme Court order.
Reacting to Imran Khan’s Speech in Hassan Abdal, the minister on Sunday said in a statement that said that the Supreme Court in its today’s decision has given conditional permission to PTI to hold a rally in Sector H-9 Islamabad.
“Imran Niazi has a track record that he has never respected any court and any institution,” he added.
According to the Home Minister, the PTI workers who came to D-Chowk set fire to trees in the Blue Area and damaged properties. “Mischievous workers are also attacking the police time and again.”
He said that D-Chowk has been sealed and no one is allowed to gather there.
It is worth mentioning here that in his brief address to long march participant In Hassan Abdal PTI Chairman on Wednesday night urges his party workers and supported to reach D-Chowk and wait for him there.
He also reiterated that their movement against the government would remain to continue until the government announced the date of a fresh election.
