Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been shifted to Islamabad, where he will be shifted to Adiala Jail.
The PTI chairman was taken to Lahore airport where arrangements were made to shift him to Islamabad, but due to weather condition, he was shifted to Islamabad via Lahore motorway.
Punjab Caretaker Information Minister Amir Mir said the PTI chairman’s next destination is Islamabad. He said Islamabad Police arrested Chairman PTI with the assistance of Lahore Police. He said the PTI chief will be delivered to Islamabad today.
Spokesperson Islamabad Capital Police said security has been put on high alert in the federal capital. All officers were instructed to remain in their respective areas.

Police have started checking has been increased in all areas of the city. Police said traffic flow in the city is flowing normally. It urged citizens to report any unusual activity on the police helpline.
According to reports, PTI Chairman will be kept in a high-security zone in Adiala jail. The Islamabad district does not have its own jail, all the prisoners are kept in Adiala jail.
Rawalpindi Central Jail Adiala Administration has finalized all the arrangements and will provide the PTI facilities as per the court decision. Islamabad Police will transfer him to jail.
