LAHORE: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, who was shot in Wazirabad during a long march in November 2022, was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after developing inflammation in his feet.
The PTI chief experienced inflammation in feet due to pressure, after which he was shifted to hospital for medical examination, ARY News reported citing sources.
The report claimed that Imran Khan’s feet experienced pressure during his appearance in the Lahore High Court (LHC) today, which caused swelling.
It is important to note that when the PTI was on its long march, a man started shooting close to the party’s receiving camp at Allahwala Chowk, injuring the former premier as well as numerous other PTI leaders.
Six people were hurt and one person was killed when unknown assailants opened fire on PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container close to the Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad.
