LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has demanded in inquiry into the sudden death of SHO Amir Shehzad, who had registered an FIR following assassination attempt on November 3.
SHO Amir Shahzad filed the FIR as the complainant for the attempted attack on ex-PM Imran Khan’s life in Wazirabad. The incident took place during the PTI long march on November 3, 2022, when an assailant opened fire near the PTI reception camp at Allahwala Chowk, resulting in injuries to Imran and several other PTI leaders. The case was registered at the City Wazirabad police station on the statement of the deceased policeman. During the shooting on the PTI chairman’s container, one party worker lost his life, and six others, including the former prime minister, sustained injuries.
We demand a proper inquiry into the sudden death of SHO Amir Shehzad, of a heart attack. He had registered the FIR of Wazirabad assassination attempt on me & was a critical witness in unearthing the conspirators behind this assassination plot being inquired into by the JIT.

He further said “The JIT record has also been tampered with. It is equally important to recall the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of FIA investigator Dr Rizwan as well as the deaths of Maqsood Chaprassi & all other witnesses in Shahbaz Sharif’s money laundering case.”
