Players and officials of international teams visiting Pakistan for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers visited the Wagah Border at the invitation of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
The Pakistani and foreign women cricketers witnessed the electrifying flag-lowering ceremony at Wagah, which left the foreign players, match officials, and umpires thoroughly impressed.
During the ceremony, both Pakistani and international players enthusiastically chanted “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan,” and applauded the spectacular parade performed by the Rangers.
The women cricketers and officials also took photos with Punjab Rangers personnel, captured selfies, and praised the vibrant and memorable event.
Foreign players remarked that it was a unique experience for them, adding that the energy and spirit of the Rangers and the audience were remarkable.
Punjab Rangers presented souvenirs to the team captains as a gesture of goodwill.
