The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial has been attracting record-breaking tweets resulting in heated arguments about who is right or wrong despite Depp winning the trial against his ex-wife.
Since Johnny Depp has won the defamation trial he filed against ex-wife Amber Heard, Twitter users have been unleashing a furious tirade against Heard. Last month, a jury said her domestic abuse claim was defamatory and false.

However recently, a hashtag named ‘I Stand With Amber’ has been trending on social media after much bashing. Still, the tweets under the hashtag have divided the social media users on Twitter; let’s have a look:
I’m disappointed to see #IStandWithAmber trending. Idolizing someone who was overwhelmingly proven to enact physical abuse against their spouse is disgusting.
You should stand with victims and survivors of such abuse. Shame on you all.

Amber Heard is a survivor of abuse who is deserving of kindness and empathy. #HumanizeHer#IStandWithAmber pic.twitter.com/a37vOfk7Ju

Amber Heard is not a survivor. She’s a manipulative, narcissist psychopath. #AmberHeardlsAnAbuser #AmberHeardlsALiar#IStandWithAmber https://t.co/ShHVAkv4UD

Reminder that destruction of property is domestic abuse – it’s meant to intimidate and show you what could happen to you if you don’t comply #IStandWithAmber #JohnnyDeppIsAnAbuser pic.twitter.com/5IvLq44j18

Even after she lost the trial they keep stalking her and humiliating her and faking news about her… This is a real obsession. They’re behaving just like the abuser they support. We love you @realamberheard i wish you see the support ???? #IStandWithAmberHeard #IStandWithAmber

#IStandWithAmber is a JOKE. A dv victim doesn’t take a dump on someone’s bed as a “prank” if they’re terrified af of the person they’re “pranking.”

Y’all spend everyday convincing yourselves Amber Heard is a terrible person so you don’t have to feel badly about the way you’re treating her.. and so you don’t have to accept that your favourite pirate is the abuser #IStandWithAmber #AmberHeardIsASurvivor

In 2016, Heard, 36, filed for divorce and a temporary restraining order from Depp, alleging the actor had physically abused her. Depp, 58, denied the allegations.
Two years later, when Heard wrote a Washington Post op-ed referring to herself as a public figure representing domestic abuse, he sued her for defamation. She countersued him for $100 million for defamation after one of his attorneys called her claims a hoax.
