“Hunt Imran Khan” or “Control Imran Khan” is a plan that has been implemented for the past several months. It is not necessary to go into the details of who made this plan and who is implementing it, but it is important to say that the ruling political alliance PDM is fully part of it and they are not absolved from it in any case.
At the very beginning of this plan, it was decided that several should be registered against Imran Khan one after the other that he would run around to appear in the courts and be so tired that he would have no time for political activities.

This plan was implemented to some extent, but the problem was that the cases were weak and there was no substance in them and he got immediate relief. It was last year on May 25, Imran Khan had a long march, then on the instructions of Rana Sanaullah, the Punjab police heavily shelled the righteous workers in Lahore. Later, when Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi became the Chief Minister, things became easier for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Second round
The second round started with the dissolution of the two provincial governments by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the formation of opposing caretaker governments. Imran Khan seems to have not realized how heavy this mistake could be. He, in consultation with his legal experts, believed that the election would be mandatory in ninety days.
All these turned out to be rough estimates. The PDM and their non-political facilitators had decided that they would not hold the election under any circumstances. That’s what happened. Along with this, the police continued to operate in Zaman Park and their clash with the righteous workers continued. It was understood by everyone that he was all part of the psychological warfare.
Third round
Today, it is in front of everyone how heavy May 9 mistake was. The political earnings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in one year were destroyed in this one day. The reaction of May 9 was so intense that the ties of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were torn apart. In this third round, the party was broken, the leaders separated, a part of the electables left. Numerous new cases have been filed against Khan, he has to appear in many courts and get his bail extended. Zaman Park is in ruins, there are no workers to be found. The situation has become that Khan Sahib has to broadcast his speech on social media every day so that he can maintain contact and relationship with his workers.
Important cases
In the second and third round, it was seen which cases are there in which it is possible to punish Imran Khan. The purpose of some cases was only to disturb and tire Imran Khan, like the case of the murder of a lawyer in Quetta or the case of activist Zille Shah. However, there were three or four cases in which the anti-Imran Khan camp was seeing potential.
Among them Toshakhana case is worth mentioning. Now it seems that Khan Sahib is the most likely to be punished in this case. The case is going on in the Sessions Court Islamabad and with the zeal and enthusiasm with which the Honorable Sessions Judge is trying to hear the case daily, it does not seem that Imran Khan will be lucky to see the month of August in freedom. It is surprising that in the Sessions Court, where cases go on for years, there is an iron determination to dispose of a case quickly through daily hearing.
One of the other dossiers which was very important and in which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf was likely to be implicated was the prohibited funding case. But this case has been dumped, the reason is very interesting. In fact, some important Arab personalities are also among those who have done this prohibited funding, they allegedly gave some amount to the hospital for charity. It is said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has very cleverly convinced our friendly Arab countries that we value your good name, so even though our opponent Imran Khan is badly involved in this case, we will not pursue that cases. That is why you have not even heard the name of the party funding case for the last seven to eight months. While the decision of the Election Commission was very strict and criminal proceedings were also said to be initiated.
The third case is the case of Al-Qadir Trust. NAB is being used in both Toshakhana and Al Qadir Trust. NAB has investigated these cases and it is likely that reference will be filed against Imran Khan in both of them. It should be remembered that in the Toshakhana case, there is a separate criminal case which is going on in the Sessions Court, while the NAB case is separate.
There is also a case of marriage during idat. Civil Judge Islamabad ruled first in this case that it is not admissible for hearing. Because the marriage took place in Lahore while the case is being conducted in Islamabad. However, the District and Sessions Court has decided against this case and according to the District Court, the right of hearing is available. Now this case has also started in the court of civil judge. The bad news from Imran Khan’s point of view in this case is that Nikah Khawan Mufti Saeed and Nikah witness Aoon Chaudhary have both testified against Imran Khan. Well, this case is still in very early stages.
Fourth round
In the second and third round, around two hundred cases had been registered against Imran Khan, he has to appear in different places. Despite this, matters are not yet reaching a decisive nature. If the decision of the District Court of Islamabad goes against it, it will create the psychological impression that Imran Khan is now punished, but the possibility is that the decision of the case in the High Court will be suspended and the sentence will also be suspended, which is usually the case. It takes some time to decide the appeal in the High Court. The problem with the government is that there is absolutely no time left.
The issue of trial of civilians in military courts is currently pending in the Supreme Court. It is likely that the decision will come in a few days, but it seems that even if the trial of civilians is allowed under certain conditions in the military courts, they will still have the right to appeal to the High Court.
Why Azam Khan’s confession?
For this reason, now the matter of the confession of former prime minister’s principal secretary Azam Khan has come to light. Khan had been missing for the past few weeks and it was likely that his software was being updated and would be compromised in some way. Now the issue of cipher has emerged again from his confession before the magistrate under section 164. The FIA has also been given permission to investigate the Cipher case.
It seems likely that Imran Khan will also have to bear the pain of adverse testimony from some other close friends and associates in the cipher case. The matter is headed for prosecution under the Official Secrets Act. If this happens, the problems of the former prime minister will increase a lot.
It seems that this hunt is the fourth round of Imran Khan’s plan to control Imran Khan. The circle has become too narrow and it is becoming a case of defection and opposition from Khan Sahib’s most trusted associates.
Will the nucleus break?
A lot has been done against Imran Khan, political vandalism is also going on, but until Imran Khan goes to jail, he is not stopped from contesting the election, till then Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf will stick with its center. The main point of Hunt Imran Khan plan is to break and disperse this center.
Apparently, the coming days will be very difficult for Imran Khan. They will be afraid of their own shadow and there will be no reliable companion left to them to whom they can share their heart.
