The Government of Punjab has opened applications for the third phase of the Chief Minister Punjab Livestock Card Scheme, aimed at supporting livestock farmers financially and boosting milk and meat production across the province.
Under the scheme, eligible livestock farmers can obtain an interest-free loan of up to Rs540,000 on easy terms. The financing can be used to purchase animal feed, silage, mineral mixtures and other approved livestock products from registered dealers.
As part of the third phase, the government has introduced an additional facility allowing cardholders to withdraw up to 25% of the approved loan amount in cash, enabling farmers to meet other essential farming expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must be residents of Punjab and meet the following requirements:
Own between five and 20 eligible calves or buffalo calves.
Possess a valid Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).
Have an active mobile phone number registered in their own name.
Ensure their livestock is registered and verified by the Livestock and Dairy Development Department.

Registration for the third phase of the Livestock Card Scheme opened on 15 July 2026.
Interested farmers can submit their applications online through the official Punjab Livestock Company website at plc.punjab.gov.pk.
Alternatively, applicants may seek assistance with the application process at their nearest government veterinary hospital or a Livestock Department facilitation centre.
According to the Punjab Government, the scheme is intended to provide financial support to livestock farmers, improve animal health and productivity, and strengthen the province’s dairy and livestock sector.
