During the forthcoming days of Ramadan, Karachi is anticipated to encounter a rise in temperature, reaching up to 34°C.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the recent 24-hour forecast indicates hot and dry weather conditions, with temperatures bottoming out at 18.5°C.
The prevailing heat can be attributed to the relatively low humidity levels, currently recorded at 41%. Notably, this year’s weather pattern has exhibited an unusual contrast from the typically cooler conditions experienced at the onset of the month, which followed heavy rainfall. Karachi, renowned for its warmer climate in March, experienced a significant drop in temperature after heavy rain and thunderstorms on March 1st, prompting a brief cold spell. However, the weather took a turn towards pleasantness with light rain and drizzle on Sunday.
Looking ahead, temperatures are expected to soar to 34°C in the days to come, posing challenges for individuals engaged in their daily routines during the holy month of Ramadan.
