Anil Kapoor, who was set to star in laughter-filled ‘Housefull 5’, has reportedly exited the film.
Since the announcement of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar joining forces for the movie, many fans were eagerly anticipating for the film. However, unfortunately, Anil Kapoor is no longer part of the comedy film, according to a report by Mid-Day.
According to a report, the actor has quit the film as he and producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Anil Kapoor could not reach an agreement regarding the actor’s fees, leading to Kapoor’s departure from the project.
Following this change in the cast, reports indicate that the filmmakers are now revising Nana Patekar’s role in the movie, as he was originally set to share comedic chemistry with Anil Kapoor.
There are also reports that Arjun Rampal might join the cast. However, there has been no official confirmation on this matter yet. Initially slated for a Diwali 2024 release, Housefull 5 has been postponed to next year. The film is now scheduled for release on June 6, 2025.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Randhir Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Vindu Dara Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ranjeet.
