People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) led the appeals, urging host Salman Khan and the show’s producers to remove the donkey, emphasizing the distress caused by using animals for entertainment.

People For Animals (PFA) echoed this sentiment, objecting to Gadharaj’s confinement within the Bigg Boss house.

Responding to these concerns, the producers decided to release Gadharaj, making him the first to exit this season. PFA later confirmed the release on Instagram, issuing a statement to update viewers on Gadharaj’s exit.
