After months of planning and a series of star-studded pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The Ambani wedding festivities have spanned continents, beginning with a Rihanna-starring Hastakshar (signature) ceremony in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This was followed by another pre-wedding celebration that included a luxury liner trip through Italy and concluded in Cannes with a concert featuring Katy Perry.
The wedding ceremony will take place at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, located in the Bandra Kurla Complex, the city’s central business district. The venue covers 1,108,812 square feet and features five modular halls, 25 meeting rooms, and a ballroom, suitable for events of all sizes.
The pre-wedding celebrations have already featured private concerts by Rihanna and Katy Perry. The recent sangeet ceremony on July 5 was highlighted by a performance from Justin Bieber, who was reportedly paid $10 million. Rumors suggest that the wedding might feature performances by Adele, Drake, Lana Del Rey, or perhaps all three.
The wedding will be attended by prominent figures from various fields, including politics and entertainment. Notable guests include Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, his deputy Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh, West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. The Kardashian sisters, Kim and Khloe, podcaster and life coach Jay Shetty, and wrestler-actor John Cena will also be present.
