The road from Malir Halt to Super Highway has been closed for heavy traffic, following the approval of the Commissioner of Karachi, who also issued an official notification in this regard.
According to Dawn News, the commissioner has restricted heavy vehicles on the two-way road from Malir Halt to Super Highway, citing severe congestion issues.
The notification stated that heavy traffic was causing persistent traffic jams from Quaidabad to Malir Halt and from Malir Halt to Super Highway, leading to major inconvenience for commuters.

As a result, the route has been closed for heavy traffic, and drivers have been directed to use Sassi Toll Plaza–Kathore via M-9 Super Highway instead.
