Hamza Ali Abbasi, one of Pakistan’s most prominent stars, has now added the title of author to his accomplishments. Embarking on a journey of self-discovery, he has written a book that reflects his spiritual experiences.
Abbasi recently released his debut book titled My Discovery of God – Islam and Judgement Day in the United States. The Alif star, who left acting to focus on his faith a few years ago, shared the news with his 1.1 million Instagram followers this past Friday. “Alhamdulillah. For now, it is available in the USA only, but soon it will be available globally and in Pakistan. I will keep you all posted. Thank you,” he wrote.

In 2019, Abbasi announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he was taking an extended break from acting. He clarified, however, that he would continue to produce films and dramas, but only those free from unethical content.
In a video, Abbasi revealed that he had become irreligious at the age of 14 but later chose to devote his life to religious discussions. In December 2020, he mentioned that he was working on a book about monotheism and the concept of God, which he hoped to complete by June 2021. He had also promised that the book would be made available for free.
