President Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has demanded the removal of Sindh government spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab as administrator of Karachi and suggested appointing a non-political person as administrator.
According to details, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said during a press conference in Karachi that there was no need for a political administrator after the announcement of local body elections. The current city administrator should be fired.
Accusing the Sindh government of holding the election hostage, Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that which rules and regulations of the Election Commission are being fulfilled. “If the commission does not take notice, the Supreme Court and the High Court will have to take it,” he maintained.

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that the Sindh government was supporting the tanker mafia. In many areas, water comes after 1 to 2 months and in a few areas, water comes after 15 days, he said.
Naeem-ur-Rehman demanded the establishment of a fair water system and said that the K4 project of 650 million gallons must be completed. The PPP is also present in the federation and now it cannot be asked to talk to the federation.
He said that the Sindh government had set up cranes on the canals and said that the work was done. “This is a lie and deception. Karachi has a chance on July 24. The mayor of Jamaat-e-Islami will work beyond his authority in Karachi. He will fight for his authority,” he said.
