Rasheed Qorma
Can you believe this joint has been cooking and selling qorma for 50 years. “By the grace of God, we have been enhancing the quality of our qorma,” says the owner of Rasheed Qorma, situated at Nazimabad’s number 3.
While terming qorma the king of all desi gravies, he reveals how they use organic spices instead of buying it in tetra packs, “We blend spices on our own in order to maintain the taste and quality of qorma,” he tells us enthusiastically.
“We cook qorma with unique spices, that’s is the main reason people love to eat here and come from different areas to eat.”
“Although we serve mutton, beef and chicken qorma but our beef qorma are more popular.” The joint sells qorma at Rs.150 for a single plate and for a double plate, it is sold at Rs.300 only. The half kg is sold at Rs.470 by Rasheed Qormaa and full kg at Rs. 1000.
Al-Harmain Restuarant
Many food joints offer rich and tasty qorma in Karachi, but some of them have the most perfectly cooked qorma that people from far ends come to eat. Al-Harmain Restuarant is one of them. Situated at Korangi’s 1.1/2 area, this restaurant has been selling the delicious qorma for 18 years now.
“We add no essence, no artificial flavors,” tells the worker of the place. The amazing part of this place was their hygiene in their kitchen, which didn’t go unnoticed.” Blended in special spices, the restaurant sells the qorma with naan.
“We only sell beef qorma which costs 220 per plate.”
Akhter Zaiqa Pakwan
This place is a must must go for all food lovers but especially chicken lovers.
“We serve chicken qorma only, shares one of the workers of Akhter Zaiqa Pakwan, situated at Mehmoodabad area.
“The spice mixed in the qorma is free from preservatives and chemicals which makes the dish tastier and healthier.”
Akhter Zaiqa Pakwan’s premium quality meat is perfectly cooked with excellent taste and good ambiance. The single plate of qorma here is sold at Rs. 120 and Rs. 480 for 1 kg qorma.
