ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government is taking all possible steps to provide relief to the people.
Talking to former Federal Minister Ijaz-ul-Haq in Islamabad about the overall political situation in the country, he said that all possible steps were being taken to provide relief to the people.
During the meeting, the public definition of the government’s National Health Card Program was also discussed. Ijaz-ul-Haq thanked the prime minister for providing quality healthcare to the people.
It may be recalled that a few days ago while addressing the nation, PM Imran Khan had said that when he became the ruler of Pakistan in 2018, the economy was already in the biggest loss. “Pakistan is not separate from the world, we also live in the same world, the highest inflation in 40 years was in the United States,” he asserted.

The prime minister said that after the corona lockdown, commodity prices have risen globally. When Pakistan was coping with difficulties, covid hit globally, he maintained.
PM Imran Khan has announced a reduction of Rs 10 per liter in petrol and diesel and Rs 5 per unit in electricity, saying that we will not increase prices in the future.
