LAHORE: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has asserted that the PTI-led federal government was standing on crutches and would fall on its own weight.
Talking to journalists in Lahore, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, “We have decided to cross all hurdles,” adding that there was no sign of good governance throughout the country.
Fazl further said that the upcoming public rallies of the PDM will attract large crowds, adding that the alliance’s upcoming Gujranwala and Karachi public gatherings will be huge shows.
On the occasion, Maryam Nawaz strongly criticized the government, saying that India was happy because of Nawaz Sharif’s speeches. “India becomes happy when the economy becomes bankrupt,” she said.
Citing ex-DG FIA Memon’s statement about him being pressurised to file terrorism cases against the government, she said that it was not her father who was dragging institutions into politics but the government was doing it.
She also said that the government had already gotten scared of the movement. “The people of Pakistan were looking towards the PDM with hopes,” she added.
” I want to assure people that we will not fall short of their expectations under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman,” she added.
