A significant increase in gold prices is observed in Pakistan on Thursday, with the price of gold per tola rising by Rs. 2,900, as reported by national media.
Following this increase, the price of 24-karat gold per tola reached Rs. 262,200, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 2,487 to reach Rs. 310,528.
A notable increase in gold prices was also recorded in the international market, where the price per ounce of gold rose by $29 to reach $3,396.
Gold prices had also increased the previous day, when the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,300 to be sold at Rs. 359,300, up from the previous Rs. 358,000.
Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 1,114 to reach Rs. 308,041, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs. 1,022 to reach Rs. 282,381.
