Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, with the price of gold per tola rising by Rs400, reaching Rs282,600 on Friday.Â
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs342, bringing it to Rs242,283, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the gold price per tola had risen by Rs1,400, settling at Rs282,200.
The global price of gold also saw an increase on Friday. According to the APGJSA, the international gold rate was $2,705 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $2 rise during the day.
In contrast, silver prices declined by Rs27, bringing the rate to Rs3,406 per tola.
