Gold prices continued their downward trend on Monday, with the price of gold per tola falling by Rs700 to settle at Rs275,000.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs600, reaching Rs235,768, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows a decline on Saturday when gold per tola fell by Rs1,200 to close at Rs275,700.
On the international market, gold prices also saw a decrease. According to APGJSA, the global rate for gold stood at $2,632 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $7 drop during the day.
In contrast, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
