KARACHI: Gold and silver prices fell sharply in Pakistan’s local markets on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with the price of gold dropping by Rs15,100 per tola.
According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs467,936 per tola. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs12,946 to Rs401,179.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs11,868 to Rs367,760.
Silver prices also declined. The price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs397 to Rs7,112 per tola, while 10 grams of silver became cheaper by Rs340 to Rs6,097.
In the international market, gold fell by $151 to $4,454 per ounce, while silver dropped by $3.97 to $66.33 per ounce.
