Gold prices in Pakistan have decreased, mirroring the downward trend in international markets. On Friday, the price of gold per tola declined by Rs2000, settling at Rs318,800 in the local market.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was priced at Rs273,319, reflecting a drop of Rs1,712, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows Thursday’s rise, when the yellow metal had reached Rs320,800 per tola in Pakistan.
Globally, gold prices also dropped on Friday. The international rate, as reported by APGJSA, declined to $3,031 per ounce (including a $20 premium), showing a daily decrease of $19.
Meanwhile, silver prices experienced a decline of Rs49, bringing the rate down to Rs3,375.
