Gold prices witnessed a decrease in Pakistan on Saturday in line with a decline in the price of the yellow metal in the international market.
As per data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association( APSGJA), the price of 24 karat per tola gold decreased by Rs. 5,500 to 320,000, while the price of 10 grams 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 4,714 to 274348.
Similarly, the prices of 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped by Rs. 4,322 to Rs. 251,494. In the international market, the price of gold per ounce declined by $ 51 to $ 3038.
Silver prices:
The price of 24 karat per tola silver decreased by Rs. 460 to Rs. 3120, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat silver dropped by Rs. 395 to Rs. 2674 in the local market. In the international market, the price of silver dropped by $ 4.5 to $29.59.
Following Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the local market resumed gold trading at new highs of Rs 325,500 per tola and Rs 279063 per 10 grams.
International gold prices rose to new historic highs on Thursday, as the global market inched closer to $ 3,100 per ounce.
