Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh had an incredible 2024, winning hearts not only in India but also internationally with his Dil-Luminati tour and appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, as reported by Indian media..
Diljit also starred in popular films like Crew and Chamkila. Diljit, who began his career in 2003 with his debut album Ishq Da Uda Ada, made his acting debut as a lead actor in the 2010 film Mel Karade Rabba.

In a recent interview with Indian media, his co-star from The Lion of Punjab, Jividha Sharma, recalled how Diljit predicted that one day he’d be featured on the biggest hoarding board in Mumbai. She shared, “I remember working with him. He’s changed now.”

“His experience over the years has turned him into a more thoughtful person. What he has achieved through hard work is truly commendable. And the best part is, he’s also been blessed by God.” She added.
She said, “Though it was his first film, Diljit was already a star because of his music. People knew him and loved his songs, which is why he got the role. He was incredibly hardworking, shooting with us in the morning and rushing off to do stage shows at night. These shows sometimes ran until early morning, yet he was always on time and looked fresh for the shoot.”
Jividha stated that she used to wonder how he managed it. It seemed impossible, but his hard work has certainly paid off. She recalled an instance when Diljit said, “One day, I will be on that hoarding,” while they were in Mumbai and saw a huge film hoarding. Years later, he made that prediction come true.”
