Gigi Hadid has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her name appearing in documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein, breaking her silence after facing questions online.
The supermodel made it clear that the situation deeply disturbed her, prompting her to speak out and firmly deny any connection while expressing sympathy for the real victims involved.
The 30-year-old model, along with her sister Bella Hadid, was referenced in a 2015 email exchange involving Epstein and another individual whose name was redacted in documents released by the DOJ.
Responding to a fan on Instagram, Hadid called Epstein a “disgusting human being.”
The fan had criticized her silence, prompting Hadid to reply that it was “horrible” to see someone she had never met speak about her in that context. She explained she initially stayed quiet to avoid taking attention away from victims, but felt it was important to clarify her stance.
She described starting her modeling career through agency meetings in New York before signing with IMG Models in 2012. She stressed she was only around 20 at the time of the email and firmly denied any association with Epstein.
