George Clooney has commented on the prospect of reprising his role as Batman after making a surprise appearance in The Flash. The actor, known for portraying Bruce Wayne in the notorious 1997 film Batman & Robin, joined Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as past Batman actors in the unexpected cameo earlier this year.
Although Clooney’s appearance in The Flash wasn’t anticipated before the movie’s release, speculation arose about the potential for more Batman appearances by him in the future.
However, the actor has firmly dismissed such rumors, humorously stating to The Hollywood Reporter, “Oh yeah. Somehow there were not a lot of requests for me to reprise my role as Batman, I don’t know why.”

In addition to Clooney, The Flash featured a surprise appearance by Nicolas Cage as an alternate version of Superman. Cage, reflecting on his cameo, shared his satisfaction with finally seeing his character on screen. He also discussed his earlier connection to the role of Clark Kent in Tim Burton’s canceled 1990 Superman movie, emphasizing the tonality he would have brought to the character, drawing on his performance in City of Angels.
