RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has claimed that Gate No 4 has been closed for Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Taking to Twitter, he said PDM was always of the opinion that it would call general elections should the provincial assemblies were dissolved. However, he said, the same PDM now wanted the assemblies to continue their tenure.

He also the country’s economic has reached the point of ‘now or never’. Sheikh Rashid expressed his belief that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan would succeed in fetching election date till January 30.

In his concluding remarks Sheikh Rashid said the Gate No 4, commonly referred as the Gate of General Headquarters (GHQ) of Pakistan Army, had been closed for the PDM.
