QUETTA: Four security personnel were martyred and six others injured in a bomb blast in Sibbi, a district of Balochistan province, security sources said on Tuesday.
They said that a convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) was attacked by a homemade bomb in the Sangan area, a Tehsil of Sibbi. As a result, four FC personnel were martyred and six were injured. They were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sibbi by air ambulance.
All the injured are said to be in critical condition. After the attack security forces reached the spot, cordon the area, and started a search operation.
It may be recalled that on March 8, a bomb explosion at Sibi Jail Road martyred seven members of the paramilitary Frontier Constabulary and injured at least 17 others, soon after President Arif Alvi left from the Sibbi Mela being held there.
