ISLAMABAD: TheElection Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a detailed reply by tomorrow in the Foreign Funding case.
The lawyers of the petitioner, Akbar S Babar, completed their arguments before a scrutiny committee. The committee later asked the PTI to submit its detailed response to the arguments on 4th December.
Babar’s counsel, Ahmed Hasan completed his arguments on the evidence provided by them. He also replied to questions raised by the committee, which would also examine the proofs provided by the PTI.

Babar later said that the PTI failed to answer the scrutiny committee.
“This was the 45th meeting of the scrutiny committee. We furnished proofs against the PTI in the past as well and the PTI has never been able to satisfy the ECP,” said Babar.
According to him, the PTI was asked by the ECP to submit any documents in its defense. Now the committee has asked the PTI to submit whatever response it wanted to give a reply to their proofs.

Babar said that he had requested the case should be completed as soon as possible. He alleged that the PTI government has used historic delaying tactics.
On 26th November, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the conscience of his party, PTI, was clean and that the Opposition was misleading the people in the foreign funding case.
