ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the huge responsibility lies on Pakistani diplomats ‘ shoulders to tackle the challenges of current times.
Addressing diplomats ‘ graduation ceremony at the Islamabad Foreign Service Academy on Monday, FM Qureshi said that rivalry between old and new global powerhouses presents challenges to Pakistan’s foreign policy.

He said that different alignments are taking a position in the world with Asia being a crucial part of global politics.
FM Qureshi stated that trade and investment would be the main factors of our economic prosperity. He said, “We will safeguard Pakistan’s interests at all costs.”
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the diplomats ‘ engagement with various institutions will help to protect the interests of Pakistan abroad. Qureshi further said the diplomats were also given a chance to visit China, which will be useful in their specialist education.
