Saudi Arabia’s newly established airline, Flyadeal, renowned for its budget-friendly flight options, has commenced its operations to Pakistan, as announced by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on Saturday.
The inaugural Flyadeal flight, designated F3-661, touched down at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport from Saudi Arabia at 8:04 AM, according to a spokesperson for the PAA.
Upon its arrival, the Flyadeal aircraft was honored with a water salute at Karachi Airport, the spokesperson noted.
The airline plans to operate two flights weekly to Karachi, with one flight originating from Jeddah and the other from Riyadh.
As reported by Arab News, Flyadeal is a low-cost airline based at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. It operates as a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, and began its operations on September 23, 2017.
Initially, the airline focused on domestic routes within the Kingdom, but on June 10, 2022, it broadened its services by introducing flights from Dammam to Cairo.
