Several terrorist attacks in the Lakki Marwat and Bajaur tribal districts on Saturday resulted in the deaths of at least five people, including two police officers.
According to reports, two people, including a policeman, were killed in two separate explosions that struck the Bajaur merged district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A medium-intensity blast occurred in the Erab area of Tehsil Momand in Bajaur, leaving one person dead. Shortly after, another explosion took place within the jurisdiction of the Lowi Momand Police Station, leading to the martyrdom of a police officer.
Later, in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unknown terrorists opened fire on at least three individuals, including a police officer from Punjab, resulting in their deaths.
According to the police, the victims were visiting Lakki Marwat for holidays when they were targeted. The victims have been identified as Sub-Inspector Qadeer Khan, stationed in Faisalabad, and two others who were a father and son.
