LAHORE: A speeding car crashed into a tree on Harbanspura Canal Road in Lahore, killing five people and injuring a child, according to Rescue 1122.
Rescue officials said the accident occurred due to the driver’s excessive speed. They added that two passersby were struck by the vehicle, while three occupants of the car died in the collision.
The deceased were identified as 15-year-old Muzammil, 18-year-old Noman, 20-year-old Abdul Rehman, 17-year-old Furqan, and 19-year-old Junaid.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the victims to Services Hospital, where the injured child is receiving medical treatment.
