BIRMINGHAM: Babar Azam’s led-national cricket team beat England by 31 runs in the first Twenty-20 International at Trent Bridge despite a blistering hundred from Liam Livingstone.
According to details, this is the first victory of the national cricket team during the tour of England. Playing first for Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman scored 26 while Mohammad Hafeez scored 24 runs. Sohaib Maqsood scored 19 runs off just 7 balls, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan created problems for the English team by scoring 150 runs in the opening partnership.
Playing against England under the leadership of captain Babar Azam, the national cricket team made a historic batting. Pakistan scored 232 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. This is the highest score by Pakistan against any country in the International T20 series. The host English team piled up 201 in pursuit of 233 runs.
