KARACHI: Daughter of PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari and late Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s valima ceremony held at Bilawal House a day after Bakhtawar’s marriage was solemnised with the UAE-based businessman Mahmood Choudhry.
The sources privy to the marriage event said that the large lawn of the Bilawal House was elegantly decorated for the purpose. A very limited number of guests were invited due to the Bilawal House reception in view of standard operating procedures against the spread of coronavirus. These included the long-time associates and friends of the Bhutto and Zardari families.
The sources said that traditional cuisines were served on the occasion including barbecue items. The food dishes served on the occasion included Chicken Boti, Reshmi Kebab, mutton roast, Palak Gosht, Qorma of Desi Chicken, Mutton Steak, and other items.
On 29 January, Bakhtawar Bhutto had tied the knot with her fiancé Mahmood Choudhary at the Bilawal House, Karachi. As per details, the Nikkah ceremony of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari was held on Friday. The ceremony was attended by families of Bakhtawar Bhutto and Mahmood Choudhary alongside prominent figures including politicians and businessperson.

The guest count was kept limited to only 300 people due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Their wedding festivities of Bakhtawar started on January 24 at Bilawal House with a Mehfil-e-Milad.
