A fire erupted in a building near Rimpa Plaza on Karachi’s MA Jinnah Road, as confirmed by a Rescue 1122 spokesperson.
According to a report by Express Tribune as well as others on Tuesday, following the alert, the Central Command and Control team swiftly deployed fire and rescue teams, along with ambulances and fire brigade trucks, to the site.
The building was evacuated as rescue operations continued, with efforts to bring the fire under control. No injuries have been reported so far.
The fire erupted on the 4th floor of the multi-story Rimpa Plaza building has spread to other floors. One snorkel and five fire tenders are actively working to control the blaze.
The fire brigade has called for additional fire tenders to the scene. With the arrival of two more vehicles, the total number of fire tenders has increased to seven. The building houses auto parts shops, tire shops, and warehouses.
