QUETTA: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) loyalist Khursheed Shah cannot give tough time as criminal has been caught and put into jail, on Thursday.
Ijaz Shah was talking to the reporters in Quetta where he answered a question raised by a journalist in regards to Khursheed Shah’s arrest.
Ijaz responded to the question by saying that no one can give a tough time and routine life goes on as usual. “Can an arrested criminal give tough time? Khursheed Shah’s arrest will do nothing.”
Meanwhile, talking to the journalists in Quetta, Ijaz Shah expressed that good security arrangements were made during Muharram processions and the purpose of visiting Quetta was to laud the performance of security agencies.
Interior Minister also handed over the latest bomb disposal equipment to law enforcement agencies for countering and preventing terrorism activates in the province.
Responding to a question, he reiterated that it is a time to show unity and solidarity with Kashmiris. He added saying, “I am absolutely confident that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will not stage a sit-down”.
On the other hand, he said that Safe City has become an inevitable necessity for the people in the city while the government’s mission is to provide relief to the nation.
