Set in the breathtaking yet dangerous wilderness of Yosemite National Park, the story follows Special Agent Kyle Turner, played by Eric Bana, an investigator with the National Park Service’s ISB unit.
Haunted by the unresolved murder of his young son, Turner is drawn into a disturbing case when a woman’s body is discovered after falling from El Capitan. What begins as a routine investigation soon unravels into a complex web involving drug networks, illegal encampments, and hidden crimes deep within the park.
The series features a strong supporting cast, including Sam Neill as park chief Paul Souter, Lily Santiago as rookie ranger Naya Vasquez, Rosemarie DeWitt as Jill Bodwin, and Wilson Bethel as wildlife officer Shane Maguire.
Following its success, Netflix confirmed a second season in July 2025.
