Senator Faisal Vawda revealed that former DG of Inter Services Intelligence Lt-Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed had given evidence against the PTI founder Imran Khan along with devices.
According to a report by Pak Observer on Saturday, in a conversation with a private news channel, Senator Faisal Vawda said, “The troubles for the PTI founder and his associates are going to be increased because Faiz Hameed has given crucial evidence, including devices, against them.”
Faisal Vawda said the trial of Faiz Hameed let the air out of the balloon for the Imran Khan-led party’s call for civil disobedience. “If the trial of Faiz Hameed had not taken place, the PTI founder, his wife and associates would not have gone through this phase,” he added.
The former minister further said he will not be surprised if the former premier is tried through a court martial, adding investigations in other offenses against Faiz Hameed are as yet underway.
